Heaven Review In Daily Star

SET LIST: DELPHIC, HEAVEN. LONDON

THESE Manchester lads should become ambassadors for British live music.

Their debut album is good – but reimagined over a 50-minute live techno-style set, those same songs sound ruddy magnificent.

The trio might look like an average indie band but their racks of synths in a sea of cable make it look like they robbed Stevie Wonder’s house.

Clarion Call is a fabulous reminder of the power of the 808 drum machine, while tunes like Doubt strip down the audio bumf to focus on bursts of glorious melody.

Delphic sound destined to become Glastonbury highlights for years to come.
